We welcome our new Operations Leader, Gary Bartow, to the Silgan Specialty Packaging team! Gary joins us with 20+ years of Operations and Management experience and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his position at Silgan Specialty Packaging.
Gary’s bachelor’s degree is from Western Michigan University where he majored in Public History. His studies also included a significant amount of coursework in business administration. After college, Gary’s career path took a few turns which included work in both the printing industry and custom graphic manufacturing industry. Gary also gained entrepreneurial experience when he started his own business in the early 2000’s. In addition, he holds a certification in Lean Leadership from MSOE.
Gary shared his thoughts about transitioning to the Silgan Specialty Packaging team. “Going through the interview process, I was so impressed by the quality of the people I met – it was spectacular. There is an incredibly gifted team here. I’m excited to be here because I believe that at Silgan Specialty Packaging, the future is limitless.”
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée and 2 sons and staying active in the outdoors whether it’s traveling, golfing, or fishing.
